Has Golf Fashion Gone Too Far

Its such a fine line isnt it?! Rickie Fowler always looked a bit ridiculous when he first came on the scene but looks fine now. I always thought that Jesper Parnevik always managed to pull off the gauche, goofy look well even though he's in that top 10. Poulter has had some good moments (the Johnnie Walker trousers and the blue trousers with the Claret Jug on the calves were nice) but he's had some howlers!

For me, Shingo Katayama always looked fine with the mini-stetson but Sabbatini looks ridiculous!

I'm with this, also thought Ishikawa is usually fairly smart too.

One day we'll realise that there isn't a TV camera out there so we don't need to display distinguish ourselves from the pack. It seems that we've fallen for the advertiser's bull just like cyclists who can't go for a bike ride without wearing pretend Tour de France look-a-like lycra. Packer changed cricket because of contrast on TV's.

PGA professionals are walking billboards and their sponsors are ruthlessly try to market their brands by differentiation we should be intelligent enough not to be sucked into paying over-the-odds for 'designer' logos.
