Hart Common is privately owned course between Bolton and Wigan. I played it today and have to say its not a bad course, it only cost me £11, the weekend summer price is only about £20.
Despite it being wet in places, it was a nice course to play, with a good number interesting holes, in complete contrast to the only other course of this type I have played, Boysnope, which I thought was pretty flat and boring.
The greens were in pretty good condition and they play on them all year round and don't use mats in the winter either, although due to the wetness in places that might not be such a good thing.
Anyway, I thought it was great value and just thought I would share.
