I see he's in a bit of hot water again. If he gets convicted I am rather hoping it means he will not get the England managers job as it sets a terrible example to all the kids. I don't rate his interviews either because he always scratches his head and looks the floor mumbling about being down to bare bones every time things don't go his way. There would be a lot of that with the English team (under 'Arry) I imagine.

Redknapp, is a triffic, top, top, bell sweat.

If the odious little man (language please: Brendy) ever gets near the national team, I will flip.

We haves class international standard manager now, yet the press are hounding him out to replace him with old droopy. Hopefully the courts throw the book at him.

so who would you like to see get the job after the muppet we have at the moment?
Only one name in the frame for me and that's Harry.

Craig Levein.....he's doing a fantastic job at the moment.......no,honestly he is,he says that we were terrific on Friday....hardly had a loss lately against those hand picked giant footballing nations like Cyprus,Faroes,Wales B,Norn Ireland etc etc.:D

Why you think its the managers fault Stevie ? ye have a decent squad , who qualify for major tournaments regularly , get over hyped by the media & relative success is trated as total failure that they didnt win the tournament .. Ask the suporters of pompey & southampton what he is like , be interesting to hear ,

Heres a piece of the mail online to kinda give you the idea dave, not sure if the link will work or not as ive no idea what im doing on that ha ....

"Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp will need to be totally exonerated in his tax-evasion trial in January to have any chance of becoming the next England manager.

Redknapp faces two charges at Southwark Crown Court along with Milan Mandaric of cheating the public revenue during their "

Well for me I really hope Redknapp gets the England job,how you can say we have a class international manager is beyond me,some of the players he picked and tactics he used in the last tournament was not that of a top international manager.

As much as I hate international footy, even England don't deserve old twitchy. Can't really see why he would take it on any way. However much they pay, there isn't enough room for fiddling the money for a few extras. Once a crook, always a crook.

I can't see him getting away with it anyway. No smoke and all that. I hate to say it but Hodgson is rebuilding his reputation at West Brom and is loved at the FA so he would tick all the right boxes.

You may well be right there Homer,Hodgson is just the type of manager the FA might go for, they have some history of not picking the right man for the job, perhaps they should go for C Levin having a manager that plays no forwards may well be the way to go.:)

sorry but no, I simply could not accept a scot managing England, it's hard enough being an ex-pat up here without that. Any success england had would be solely down to having a scottish manager. They are still convinced they became world champions in 67 because they beat us in the home international that year.

That will be the game where they thrashed us 3-2, with England playing with only 10 fit men,and we hit the post twice in the second half.;);)

I agree he didn't do well at Liverpool. to be honest it was a rash move by him especially with the success he was having at Fulham and given the board room battles that were going on. I don't think the players wanted him from the start and so it was always a tough ask then. He's made West Brom a more competitive outfit, is on the FIFA coaching executive (or was not sure if its still the case) and respected at FA HQ. If they are set on an Englishmen who are the alternatives if Harry goes down?
