Through the power of this forum, I would just like to wish myself a Happy Father's Day, as neither of my two lazy, ungrateful good for nothing sons could be bothered to use any of the many options of communication open to them, be it text, facebook, phone, mobile or post to pass on their best wishes to me.
I would also like to extend my best wishes to any other fathers out there who, like me, are feeling neglected and sorry for themselves.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!

Lost my dad ten years ago this year. It's my birthday today and I'm sure we'd have had a big one for that and a few more for Fathers Day. Not sure my mum or my wife would have approved of the mess we'd have rolled up in

That nasty wee daughter of mine.....the English one.......finally gave me my fathers day bottle of whisky along with a card with a picture of Bobby Moore and his team mates holding the World Cup. [Surprisingly the picture on the card was in colour]

Obviously a lady of impeccable taste... Properly brought up by her English mum ;)...

Have you seen the Royal Mail commemorative stamps of famous footballers? All choices from the home nations... Look really good and, of course, Bobby Moore is amongst them ...

I got a card and a new M&S polo shirt. The card was signed by my daughter on behalf of her and my 21yr old son (who only uses the phone or texting to 'ask' me for money). Then to top it all my wife chided me for not thanking HER for the card. Says it all I guess.

Hippy Fathers Day past guys. Look after yersels.
