21 years married today and we celebrated by playing golf (of course) at Staverton Park. Quite a nice, interesting course although the venue as a whole looked a bit run down. Played 3 under handicap :clap:

Then had a fish finger sandwich and chips - we know how to live :cheers:

Stavertons an interesting one, I like the layout but it always seems as though its had too much traffic and is in ok ish condition at best.

Played Bourne earlier in the week, not sure if youve played it yet (its on the smartgolfer network) thats worth a visit, was in good condition and a nice test

Condition was pretty good and agree an interesting layout which makes you think about position. Played Bourn several times and always enjoy it. Some nice holes and really like the 10th. Tall Paul is a member there (did the Ping PYB).

If condition at Staverton good then I think it should be a pretty good track, just never had the pleasure!

Bourn was a new course for me, played with paddyc, hes a member at Girton (and used to be at Bourne) so we'll play there soon, also going to try and get a game at Pavenham again as we slowly tick off some of the reciprocals as the year progresses (we did yours a month or so ago too). 10 a very good hole, i played too conservative off the tee (I did most of the day), if it wasnt in front of the clubhouse id definitely have hit another and had a crack at the green lol
