recently i came across a **single club (from a fairly oldish set 20yrs +)i watched it it didnt sell & then it was relisted it then sold

yesterday i saw a same set of clubs minus a **certain club

to see the ** from a set of clubs that old ok singles turn up , but it is kind of a coincidence ....when a week later a set minus a **certain club turn up

i know it might not be the missing/lost club from that set & im not saying it is ,but its a hell of a coincidence

do you think i should i inform the seller of the set?

if it is its a poor show if you ask me not handing in a club to what might be someones pride and joy & then selling it on

I would definately inform the seller IF you check the location of both sellers. If they are close then it is perhaps too much of a coincidence and therefore a quick email to the seller wouldn`t do any harm.

Hope it's just a coincidence.

Funnily enough last year I put a ex demo 5 iron on e-bay which I used to use for practice, having seen someone selling a set of the same clubs without one. Thought that a buyer might spot it and be able to get them both to complete the set. In fact someone else bought my club in the end.

one was essex & one was a county that borders it

so i did give the set seller a heads up
just in case

& they said they would look into it

@ Darth

because im almost saying its dodgy

& dont think it would be fair to them

& might also be a problem on GM forum & get me in trouble

& also then anyone could msg the single club seller & give them grief ....that wouldnt be fair as it really might just be a coincidence

good points, I hadn't thought it through :o

I hope its not a Ping G10 9 iron,my mate lost his at FOREST
PINES 3 weeks ago,he's gutted,been quoted 90 quid for a
replacement..

I left my i15 9 iron lying out somewhere at Forest Pines. Gutted I was. Luckily somebody handed it in afterwards.

At first look it could be highly suspicious, but then again both sellers could be totally genuine. I would say you are right to contact the seller of both clubs - after all the seller of the 1 club may have been cleaning it when the rest of his bag was lifted!
