handicaps

Hi all.

Iam big dan and new to the forum. I have been playing golf on and off for about ten years. I had a big break away from golf wife new house children. back into it big time now is there a way to get a handicap without joining a club please.I would like to make a start on trying to lower what ever i am now or would start on any help would be great cheers bigdan

there are sites on the internet that will track your handicap its just down to you entering your scores..

do a google search on handicap tracker, a rival magazine has a great one on there site!!

As above you can get a handicap from some internet sources. Another good one would be to join a golf society if you know of any around where you live or work. Please note though that these handicaps are unofficial and cannot be used to enter competitions etc. The only way to get an official CONGU handicap is to join a club.

Welcome dan, where snouts are you?

My local club offer a membership card for £50, that not only gets you discounts on green fees and buggies but also allows you to get an official handicap and join 10 comps a year!
