Off to Ireland next month and looking to play Carne and Westport. On the weds, they have an open stableford comp.
I fancy playing in it so my question is how do you go on regards it counting towards your handicap. Either 0.1 reduction or otherwise. How does Westport let my club know? Cheers boys and laydees.

They have the CDH as well don't they? Saying that it was a massive pain moving my hcp from Scotland down to here so I'm not too sure, the central database is nowhere near as central as it should be

If you play in an Away Open it's your responsibility to report your result back to your club with the CSS when it's available.

Probably more down to poor admin by a club. I moved mine from England to Scotland, and it was done in a couple of days. Also, when entering a national competition, in which I had to enter my CDH number, it filled in my handicap as soon as I'd put the CDH in and hit return.
