Hi,
How many .1's can you get back in a season someone told me you could only drift 1 shot in a season or the max you could get back would be 19 from 11.5 to 13.4 or is there no limit was just thinking as i intend to play a lot more single open comps rather that team events and i only play medal at my own course you could drift out the handicap quickly.

You can go up as many as you can play as far as I am aware there is no limit

If you go up that much in one season, you will also get a review at Christmas, and maybe another shot back on top.

No limit. I think last year I defended my handicap on very few ocassions and hit the buffer zone maybe three or four times. I had a couple of wins but it was all or nothing golf. Either a top 3 or 0.1 back by the turn

Agree with Matt01 2 shots a season or 20 0.1's.

I don't know if the rules are different in Ireland but under CONGU rules there is no limit.

How would that work though would it mean that once you had gone up your 2 shots would they no longer count as qualifiers, most courses have an automated system now is it built in or would they have to keep adjusting it and is it a 12 month period or calander year
