Hi all,
Just a quick note to say I now have an offical handicap of 16. Considering in two of the rounds I was 20 and 18 over for the first 9 I was a bit shocked at only getting 16. Although on the back nine of my last card I went par, par, par, bogey, par, bogey, par, par, triple bogey. To say I was in shock on the 18th tee only 2 over for the back 9 so far is an understatement.
Dont get me wrong I am delighted with 16 but feel I have a lot of work to do to play 18 holes to 16. I have struggled with the front nine so I have a lot of work to do. As its a links course I need to get my slice off the tee sorted as the wind is still a problem in the summer. Need to get my hands turning.
All in all I wont be playing for any hard earned cash for a few weeks to see how I get on. First offical medal on Saturaday morning with two people Ive never met.
I think the handicap committee picked my highest hole and doubled it for my handicap! Wish I had of missed that long putt for an eight!!!
