Hi Gentlemen,

I have just received an email from howdidido, saying my handicap has gone up by 0.5 even though I havent put a card in since October, would this be due to the bad weather or is it an annual review based on my abysmal form last year? Cant get to speak to anyone at my club until tomorrow, so I wondered if anyone here could enlighten me.

Thanks in advance

Mark

Well done mate, I thought I was safe from free falling any more, looks like I was wrong. I am having lessons with Alex and we have decided there will be lots of pain before things get better lol

Hope that goes well, you will have to let me know Alex is a cracking guy.

I think I need to get a playing leaaon one of them, holes 2-8 are ripping me apart at the moment......

Definitely cannot be the annual review, because the minimum change has to be + or - 1.0. You cannot be increased or decreased by less than one full shot, although fractions are permissable above 1.0.

I really rate Alex, he is helping a lot, got a lesson on Sunday and then straight after will be having 9 holes with Alex just for fun.

Sounds good, was thinking of a lesson was thinking of going to Spooney at NFGC, but may have a chat with Alex if he is about sat.

You are right Duffer, just checked my last competition handicap, it was 1.0 increase, I feel even worse now :-(
