hi
as soon as my course goes back to the full course , i will hopefully be getting my official congu handicap off the yellow tees ,so i will have to give my 3 cards in. just a few questions,if there was two of us , say player a and player b , does A mark Bs card and vice versa or do you fill just 1 scorecard out? thanks guys

Handicap cards are usually marked from the competition tees, certainly at most clubs I know (although I also know yellows have been accepted on here before) so check before you start. If there is 3 of you in the group pass it onto player A who'll pass his to player B who in turn will give you his. Again handicap cards are normally done in threes and not pairs so be careful. If you can do it as pair then you'll have to mark his card and he'll do yours. Of course if he's just doing you a favour there is no need to do his and he can just mark yours.

^^What he said^^ ;)

I think as long as the yellow tees constitute a measured course and has it's own sss then I think it'd count, but like Homer said, check with the club before you start.
If it is ok, there should be a place on the card to tick which tees were used, make sure you fill that bit in as well as the rest of it.

One of my cards was off the yellows and I had no problems with it, although comps at our place off the yellows aren't qualifying. Go figure :D

Yes, so long as it has a SSS it is perfectly OK. We use the yellow course, we also run some handicap qualifying comps on the yellow course (principally our seniors section). There is absolutely no reason why they shouldn't be qualifying and is contrary to CONGU guidelines not to do so.
