Hi

Today I played in a local open with my Wife. On arrival I went and paid the official and both my wife and I advised our handicaps, (she off 36 and me off 28, both official CDH based) and handed over the cash entry fee..

Off we went and play a thoroughly enjoyable Greensomes match.

fast forward 4 hours later, I get home and checked their website for the results, and they are not yet posted.. BUT... I noticed that the HC limit for men was posted as 24.. now my card stated my HC was 28 and we got our shots allocated accordingly...

How do I stand? will my score be counted as WE marked it.. or will they make adjustments to the card to take into account i should have played off 24 and not 28?

TIA

I would imagine if you posted a good score then they would check it for accuracy and adjust accordingly, if it wasn't a good score they probably wont bother checking.

I would certainly contact the organisers asap if you had a half decent score.
Your task under the rules is to enter your correct handicaps on the card not the handicap allowance or any other adjustments.

If you have shown 2 points more that you would have had on corrected handicap allowance then your score should simply be adjusted/corrected by the committee as an administrative matter. This is hugely easier all round before the results are posted!!!
