Hacienda del Alamo

Indeed :D

It's a fantastic course, very long andif you miss fairways, you'll find yourself in the wasteland / gravely sand. The greens will be quick and it is a great test. I play it every time I am over there, without fail.

Just googled - you didn't tell me it's the longest course in Spain! Looks like the hybrids will be working hard.

First thought that sprang to my weird mind too! Scary!

For a while, Spanish prices seemed 'too high'. Have they come down to better value?

It's a Srixon sponsored Pro-Am. 6 nights in villas with hire cars and 4, maybe 5, rounds and it's 350 notes plus another £200 for flights with golf bags. Apparently there are loads of goodies and prizes.

Played there yesterday, and enjoyed it. Not the best course I've played in Spain, but not the worst. Fairways were a bit of a mess, a lot of bare patches with grass seed on, and the greens were quick, but not fantastic. Was an enjoyable round though, managed 30 points, so wasn't too much of a challenge. Hopefully by the time you get to it, it'll be in a bit better condition!
