Cracking birdie by Steve on the 18th and glad they got it on camera. Sadly they missed both of mine including the one from a fairway bunker to three feet but some good stuff on there. I had a blast and Steve was a cracking partner, and will be dangerous of his handicap next year, especially when he gets the new driver in the bag.

Rick and Peter were top guys and made us both very welcomed and were encouraging about our golf. They were very frank about their quest for the open ambitions and Quest Golf, and have an awful lot of stuff coming up over the next few months.

It's definitely a different angle for the H4H day and I hope they come back next year and that if they do, that people bid to play with them. It's definitely worth it, even if it means your efforts, warts and all is consigned to film forever.

I think everyone should be able to laugh at themselves, so I have no issue with my bad shots being on film.

As homer says, it was a great round, playing with Rick and Pete put a different angle on it, they really are very down to earth approachable guys.

There were some very good shots played by all, I think we all had a contender for shot of the day. It is a shame for Homer that they didn't get his birdies on camera, his approach out of a bunker (from approx 140 yards) to three feet had Rick and Pete applauding, it could only really have been better had it gone in the hole.

Overall it was a very enjoyable round which is what the day is all about. It was my first H4H, only my 2nd forum meet as I've only really been playing just over a year but my name will be down for next year if it goes ahead!
