H4H accommodation help

HID has decided she is now joining me for the trip, and heading into central London shopping on the Monday (a particular jewellers near Hatton Garden)

Could anybody recommend a decent location to enable HID to get public transport into London, and leave a reasonable drive for myself to the course.

Woking it self is mainline to Waterloo in about 30 minutes, so why leave a long drive for you?!

Woking, Guildford, Farnborough, Camberley - all have main line trains to London and are within 20-25 mins of West Hill.

Do a search for Travelodge, there are plenty of them around. The one in Farnborough is 5 mins walk to the station.

Other option is to stay somewhere in West London and then it's easy for her to get into town and still not too bad for you.

I live in Ealing (West London) and will be driving down on the day - google reckons 40 mins. Happy to lift share if you wanted to go from somewhere near here if the missus didn't wanna travel too far.

West Hill golf club is beside Brookwood station, on the Waterloo to Alton line Probably a five minute walk. Another option.
