Guy Martin's Spitfire

Thought the whole programme was fantastic, he reminds me very much of a Modern day Fred Dibner.

he actually has a brain and charisma, (summat other presenters sadly lack).

you could get involved by his input to the build of the spitfire. But the stories that run parallel to this are just fantastic regards a family connection to the plane and the original building of the planes.

if you get a chance try and watch the programme of him racing the "Pikes Peak" in America. Stunning. Watched it and thought he had a "screw loose as well".

PS, his autobiography is out and some of the pictures in there are jaw dropping.

My bro being in the bike industry knows guy and how he is on the TV, is exactly like he is in real life.

Also, dont just watch that one, all of his series "Speed" i thought were fantastic, amazing man and fit as a fiddle as you will see on some of the more physical episodes, but i agree with Tashyboy, Pikes Peak was pretty special, would loved to have seen his time if he got the bike running 100%!!

Guy Martin has been becoming a bit of a hero type for me the last few years. Very down to earth, very hard core!!

Look out for "Speed with Guy Martin"
