Not been a member on here long, only recently tried entering a few comps/ freebie days, and, as luck would have it, just been granted a place at the Calloway testing day at Stoke park in a fortnight.....

Unfortunately, my co-manager has just gone on the Pat & Mick for a month, with a sore back(a likely story) and I've got to cover his shifts, which means I can't go to the Callaway Day.

I'm absolutely raging, but my job has to take priority over my golf (only just).....

....so my question is, how do I get my co-manager back?

im fairly cynical when it comes to sickies, to the point where I don't even believe myself when I phone in sick ( which is rare)

hes is a keen angler, so if anyone can supply me with a fishy wind-up or something to get him back, then let me know.

i swear to God, if I catch him fishing when he's off sick I will rescue club him into the river clyde

Just ask/tell him to come in for a couple of days as you have a great offer on the table. Unless there is a lot of manual labour involved I am sure he could sit behind a desk, you could cover him for a few days fishing in exchange.

If he's legally signed of then I would imagine he can't come to work for health n safety reasons. Gotta love PC Britain lol

I agree. Not sure there's a lot you can do if he isn't back in time
