Im sure we all have some kit somehwere, be it balls, clubs, gadgets, bags etc that we love but know deep down we shouldnt!

For me, it was a dunlop driving iron, originally from sports world, i picked it up off Ebay for about £4. When i went through a dodgy patch with my woods, I could hit this fairly long and straight off the tee. Found it easier to hit off the tee than a 3 or 4 iron.

Come on them now Ive started the ball rolling, whats yours??

I have the real 5 wood Callaway from 1994 - ish?
Can't shake the bugger off........there was a copy by "Mercury", both are sublime.....

Also, (and I'd rather appear on TV in the buff) I have some srixon green.......(arghhh, given myself away as a girl!!)

Does a 9 wood count?

It has to be "The Perfect Club" off the TV. It kept me playing when I couldn't hit anything bigger than an 8 Iron in a straight line. Keep it in the bag for use around greens and out of the rough...Don't laugh!!

OK I admit it, in the back of a cupboard is a chipper bought when I first started out. I hope I will never need it again but it ahs no re-sale value so it just sits there waiting for the day when I am truely desperate.

I have a 9 wood, got it when I started playing and couldn't hit anything higher than a six iron. Still take it down the range every now and again to hit a few shots.

OK if it's confession time when i started golf i got sucked in by the Golf Channel and bought a Northwestern Pro plus 10 driver .That was the " biggest legal driver made" with a sweet spot the size of a barn door!!! . Prior to the K1 of course, complete load of *hite! spent the next three months trying to cure a terrible slice that disappeared when i ditched the club .

I admit that I have a Ram Demon 3/h hybrid that came in a set of my friends. It is in my current playing bag for the moment.

It is the only hybrid i can hit consistently without spending a fortune on a Burner Or a Baffler.
