Guess my 1st handicap.....

So Guys and Gals, handed my 3 cards in yesterday to enable me to get my first ever handicap! What do we all think it'll be??

Card 1 - SSS 69 - 89 shots (counted back, 93 before)
Card 2 - SSS 68 - 89 shots (counted back, 94 before)
Card 3 - SSS 68 - 94 shots (counted back, 100 before)

So, what do we think? Hoping to here midweek as want to enter the medal on the weekend. Although I was scoring lower last year, I'm happier with parts of my game now. Ball striking is the best it's ever been, hitting my irons clean and far as a result of a couple of changes my pro has made. Just hoping for a decent summer to play as much as possible!!

I'm thinking 20 and thats what I play off in bounce games with mates. In my lowest card, I shot 7 pars, including s.i 1 & 2, are things like that taken into account?

Quick update........ I'm now a 24 handicapper. Not sure how I got this, really was expecting 21ish.

I guess I've gotta start somewhere and the progress starts on Wednesday in the midweek medal. Good news is my lessons are starting to pay off, hitting the ball much better and managed 2 over for 9 holes the other night.

Bring on Wednesday and fingers crossed for some cuts this year!

Thought they took your best adjusted score for your initial HCP. In your case this was 20.
