Grips

Hi

I think its time to think about re gripping my irons, At the min i have Titleist Golf Pride factory fitted Velvet Tour grips. I have read before about most people like Lamkin but i prefure to use Golf Pride Velvet grips.

I think im going to get Golf Pride DD2 Golf Grips ( In Black and Red ) they have good reviews and look great and from my previous history with Golf Pride i dont think i could choose any other grips.

Just wondering what you prefure and what would your choice be?

At the moment all my clubs have the golf pride tour velvets,will be getting them all regripped at the end of the season,probably go for the multi compounds.

I like cords, tour velvets seem greasy to me. Probably my skin type doesn't suit, any cord works for me.

I agree, I regripped my clubs with the black and red multi compounds this year and they are excellent.

I love the feel of them - sounds silly but if I was having them I need them turned, the smooth bit beside the logo is where my thumb sits. This make me grip tighter in the rain as I feel I am loosing grip because the thumb slips on this.

I'm with Dave on this but not sure I'll be rushing to get the pink. THe red is pretty snazzy and I quite like the yellow and sky blue versions. They are a great grip and will be going on my clubs, probably for the start of the new season next year when I give my kit its annual MOT

Everybody gets red. I've got green irons and orange woods, my wedges are next, probably go for dark blue. -variety is the spice of life.

Lamkin crossline for me. Sorry. They are still the best. All this multi compound, multi coloured stuff doesn't cut it.

I've just had mine done in Ping mid-size, primarily because I wanted to go up a size (due to a tendon problem not large hands) and these were the only mid-size immediately available.
They feel pretty good, I think they are very close to Tour Velvet.
