I'm left handed as you can see. My general shot is a fade to the left, esp with my driver. My occassional bad shot is hook.

The fade will be caused by the swing path being slightly out to in, cutting across the ball from left to right.
The hook will more likely be a pull when the clubface is square or closed to the swing path.
If you are happy with the fade, keep working at the more neutral/weak grip which should stop the hook/pull

Hi bobmac, Ive been working on the new grip and I am seeing much straighter shots, but some with the slight fade still, which I like still. The new grip is starting to feel more natural and I have a little drill prior to each shot to make sure I get the club in the right place on the fingers.
Still quite a bit of work to do on the driver though. Here I really feel like I need to get a full (feels exaggerated) body turn to get it straight, if I don't it goes wild to the left!
