Changed all my grips about 10days ago to some of the GripMaster leather jobs, - bargain @£4 each.
However, as soon as I put them all on, I noticed how sticky/tacky they were, which was quite strange, however, they were done so that was that.

1st outing, - couldnt get used to them, and couldnt get my hands comfy on the grip, - result - started well, but ultimately played crap, blamed grips.

However, since then, although I still havent formed a loving relationship with them yet, I've played very well with them,
-16 holes last Wed evening where I was level Gross !! *shakes head*
- a Gross 76 on Sat am in a Social game.

:D

Quite how i'm playing so well with grips I still dont really like yet is beyond me, but I think I'll hang fire before I rush & replace them all again !

Maybe something in this 'tackiness' after all !

I use these as well, coming up a year later and they are still very sticky! They have softened up nicely but still require plying off the glove. Overall I like their performance as you can use a much lighter grip pressure and still feel connected. I'll give them to the end of the season before contemplating changing them. My putter grip is gripmaster and that is awesome yet not sticky.

I'm loving these grips. Best decision I've ever made on the grip front. Sooooooooooo good.

The grips have probably been taking your mind off the shots.

Instead of thinking 'I'm level at the moment' your thinking 'I know what this feels like, sticky and leathery. Yep thats it a Carrot'.

It would seem you play better when thinking of Carrots then your score!!

You can replace Carrots with anything and it will probably have the same effect!
