Anyone tried a strong left hand grip with a weak right hand grip?

I have been struggling with a strong left and right hand grip and feel I am manipulating things too much. The strong left, weak right combo feels great for staying on plane etc, but I am not aware of anyone who is any good using it.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks

Not a good idea to have hands that are/would be opposing one another. {in a grip, ideal is neutral 2 to 2&1/2 knuckles visible left hand as you look down at address, both left and right 'V's' point around middle right shoulder. There also should be an angle between back of left hand and the left wrist at address, it's only a 'flat' (or slightly bowed) left wrist through impact, not at address}

You need, although the grip in both hands should be mainly in the fingers so the wrists can set fully and properly, the palms of both hands should be, need to be parallel to one another so thy can work together in a natural realease.
Opposing grip positions that you suggest will lead to a world of pain, shot wise.

That's why you don't see anyone really using it, even Zack Johnson with his strong left hand grip doesn't employ a weak right hand, he makes the compensations for the strong grip in his swing motion through a big clearance left of the hips and Zack also has to hold off his arm swing through impact, but his palms left & right don't oppose each other. (Something he has in common with his namesake Dustin J, but for slightly differing reasons as DJ also has to work his hips vigorously left because of his over bowed left wrist & closed club face at the top.)

Sounds a bit like the butterfly grip, more often mentioned in regards to bunker play. The link below suggests it may have other uses.
