Most of the new drivers tend to go pretty much the same distances when tested by Rick Sheils or Crossfield.

given the £ for £ aspect, and assuming new, it's going to be an RBZ II from American Golf at about £75-£90 if they still have them.

Longest I've tried was a Callaway X Hot Pro.

Less forgiving than the wife right enough but if you got it out of the middle was forum distance long.

That would depend if you played in competitions. If not look for anything with high COR (its changed name recently but can't think of it). So effectively a club illegal for competition in this continent.

Other than that:

1. Find a fitter
2. Do as he says
3. Load up and hit it hard!

I've always had good distance with Taylormade drivers but they can be unforgiving. Good luck with your search.

Burner Superfast has a very good reputation and some are going for silly small money - £25-30.

But the AG RBZs seem good value too.

ll a case of whether the shaft suits imo.
