Been to the range everyday this week. I had a grip change on the Monday. Apparantly the gap between my left thumb and index finger was to big. I was advised to turn my left wrist around the club more clockwise so the badge on my gloves points more to the target.

It felt a little wierd and almost as if I was going to let go of the club.

The results however were brilliant. Felt relaxed and was hitting a nice draw with every shot.

Just waiting for the course to open. So much has changed in my game, from my mental attitude to my grip so we'll see how it goes.

3 Cards go in in April so have a little time left to hone my new skills!!!!

I have always had a pretty strong grip since I first picked a club up due mainly to the fact that I had weak wrists as a kid and so felt a need to compensate. My hands work pretty well together normally and my coach is happy so not going to change it. I agree though it is amazing how a small change can make the club seem to release so much better and easier

The stronger grip really does help with the right to left shots, almost erradicated the slice immediatly when I changed my grip to a stronger one.

Good luck with it, it will bed in within a couple of weeks!
