Rolled up yesterday for 3 day break (bargain price!)and got away with some decent weather. Started poorly on front nine but steadied on back and beat Mr B in the end with 29 not too shabby points.
Weather today is diabolical so golf postponed, but tomorrow looking good.
The have refurbished Dmouth GCC since we last visited - accom much smarter and food last night was decent.
And they have free wireless even if signal is only any good in the bar, so if weather is crap you can pass time on the good old forum.
Oh dear, getting rowdy in the clubhouse here now that the wimmin have arrived. May have to retreat to the sauna.
Cheers!

AliB, Enjoy all the facilities when the weather is nt good, pool, sauna, steam room, Was down there a few years ago and loved it,couple of good pubs around as well, oh ,nice golf course too...

We made the best of it . Tuesday complete washout but fabulous sunshine today. Can recommend the course for winter - it was still in good nick today despite heavy rain.

One of the great thinks about most courses on the coast in that area is that they drain very well.

You see so many players, from courses further inland to Bude, playing Bude in Autumn\Winter when their courses are plagued by water.

Never played Dartmouth but am looking to do more away days next year, so might give it a shot.
