You'd be surprised. The photo was taken at Jasper in Canada and edinburgh is indeed further north than that....

I saw a couple of moose playing in a Ladies' competition at my club this weekend

Ah Canada...my FiLaw had a run in with Elk a few years ago over there. Trying to photograph a herd and then took exception and started running him down! Just got behind a fence in time.
We take immense pleasure in finding all manner of birthday and Xmas gifts that continue the elm theme..😂

Is that Jasper Park? I've played there and we had to wait for a moose/elk to move on before hitting our approaches to the 1st.

Poor greens! Love the hills/mountains in the back, beautiful.

Reminds me of the time I think I was playing Maylands golf course and there were 2 or 3 deer running though the course and ouch to the greens/course.
