Green a tad soft.

We walked in on Sunday as our greens were starting to flood, an hour later they were fine again but it really did belt it down. Funnily my pp is playing wyboston lakes this Sunday.

It's still in very good nick. Getting a bit harder to spot your ball if you off the fairway as it's covered in leaves. But £20 on a Sunday morning is great VFM

I had a peek on the old internets at that course, a lot of water!! Its not far from me so hope to play it one time... Probably in the summer!

Don't forget the golden rule......play the ball as it lies ;)

If your ball plugs on the green like this what do you do? I don't take part in comps at the moment because I'm not a member anywhere but in bounce games we repair the divot and place the ball on top of it.

What do the rules say you should do?

Had one of those last year. It had been very very wet but the course was still open and it was in a medal round. Second shot into the 8th to a green that normally doesn't get that wet. Hit a great shot and it was all over the flag but looked to disappear behind the green. When we got there it's looking like a fried egg with less than half the ball above ground level. Missed the bloody birdie putt from 8 feet though.
