Hit a new PB yesterday, finishing with 92 for a nett 67. My previous best had been 96.

I had to battle for the first few holes to make any scores, a few good up and downs for pars/bogeys etc. I had a number of first putts lip out, but didn't 3 putt until the 9th (which was my only blob). I started the 10th on 18 points, and racked up a further 23 points on the back 9. A good few pars and one of my favourite birdies on our SI 3, a 570 yard par 5.

I had one three putt all round, which is a much better effort than last week (after the transition from winter greens back to proper greens) where I struggled with pace all day and had about 8 three stabs on the card. The few sessions i've had with the V-Easy have helped calm my putting stroke right down! Cheers Bob!

I had 9 out of 14 fairways, which equals my best performance with the big dog - there were 2 drives that had only missed the fairway by a foot.

Overall, very happy with how I played yesterday, and i've definitely proved to myself that i've got a sub 90 round in me, just need to find that consistency to help me keep the handicap tumbling.

Excellent - hows the weather in your part of the world?

I felt today was the first proper round of winter golf with soft wet ground and pins to be attacked. Loved it :)

another PB for me today...:)

90 gross, 62 nett scoring 46 points

when I left the course at 630pm I was top of the leaderboard, four more tee times to go out tomorrow, so finers crossed

Jason - I was using the Nike One Tour, i've still got a slack handful of those ready to be slapped in the lake. Only lost one on Friday, usually I come back 2 or 3 lighter. Once I have a couple of rounds without losing a ball i'll treat myself to a round with the balls you kindly sent to me.

Amanda - weather is world class cheers, just strating to drop below 30 during the day, and the evenings are a chilly 15-18... still no sign of rain!!

Homer - Even after a few hours use you can feel a difference, I can't wait to see how the putting action feels after a few months use with it.

Cheers Tiger, let us know how you get on! Well done on the PB as well FT, good skills! Keep us all updated with the outcome!
