Buy a powerball, they are frustrating and addictive. I got one after the wife asked me what I wanted for xmas and this was pretty much top of my list. They are relatively inexpensive and beneficial to those with wanting more power through their forearms (great for shots out of the rough and out and out thrashing the ball of the tee)
The other plus side is that they are recommended for rehabilitation of RSI & Carpal Tunnel conditions or strengthen broken bones.

The only downside ive seen so fasr is achy wrists and the inability to put the damn thing down.
so far Ive managed 11400 rpm and the record is 16k rpm which is frankly amazing.

Yep I got one and did use it lots for a few weeks but got bored of it, need to start back doing it.

And wow it burns you forearms when you get the ball going, tiny circles with your wrist will get the thing going nuts.

I got over 10,000 on my second day of having one and still haven't bettered it. I can't remember what my exact score was. I've only had it a couple of weeks.

Apparently it's good for my carpel tunnel?

Odd you should mention something for wrist/hand exercise.....my pro has given me 3 specific exercises to do in front of the telly! Unsurprisingly for a musician, my hands are flexible and tenacious, but far from strong!!!

Yea 11400 last night, even with a rested arm today I still cant beat it, for me its something ill just keep working at and after seeing some of the scores I need to make it a little more respectable.
Its one area of my body I never exercise (cue the jokes!!) and while Id consider myself a little stronger than average for my size, my wrists would be a weak point. Until recently I never even thought it'd help my game though practising in the rough certainly starts the wrists burning after a while too so this has to help.

My mate had one and went on about how good he was at it on his first day, I went round and beat his scoe second go :D

Seriously though these things are good fun, so addictive, I actually had a blister on the inside of my little finger from gripping it so tightly.

Brendy can you start it without the string yet?

I had a blister as well just on the inside of my pinky's 3rd knuckle. It was quite painful the next time I tried to use it.

I have one, but have managed to injure myself with it, some sort of repetitive strain, so I guess you need to build up to it. I can get some mental speeds out of it (mis spent youth, the only answer, also why I think I am going blind), but I find it is not good for me, so I have benched it for now.
