Great Scoring

I was away at the weekend so called into to the golf club to have a look at the results from the weekends stableford.

50 points was the winning score, level par gross (72) css 71. This from a 13 handicap golfer, I'm sure those that were present witnessed some great golf from one of the clubs younger members.

As a result his new handicap is down 2.9

Is this one of the highest stablford scores recorded from an individual?

Saw a 49 in a senior Stableford just the other month ... thought they had up their Stableford score into the gross score, but turns out they just had a great round

Probably 3*0.3 and 10*0.2 - and a marker for ESR.

It is possible. I read it as a cut down to 2.9 and thought that wouldn't be possible.

A junior golfer, wins regularly in team events, plays with single figure golfers more often than not. It was his day, well played in my eyes. 6 birdies in the round, 2 doubles, 2 bogeys and the rest pars
