I went to Scotland for the weekend, stayed at and visited New Lanark, a really great place in the Clyde valley and well worth a visit if you are around the area, lots of industrial heritage in a stunning location. Then today we drove up to Falkirk to visit the Falkirk Wheel, an incredible engineering project which again is definitely worth visiting.

Just though I would share.

Did you walk up to the Falls, they can be quite spectacular.

I'm just back form an astonishing week on sun soaked Mull.
At one stage I had 3 Goldies and a White Tailed Eagle all within the 'scope' of my binoculars.
Some amazing sunsets behind the Treshnish Islands

Crikey I live about 20 mins drive from the wheel and never seen it. Or the kelpies.

Think that's what happens when you have attractions on your doorstep, I live less that 3 miles from the Wheel and have been only a couple of times, passed the Kelpies often but never visited, Antonine Wall is literally on my doorstep never walked on it. Need to change this soon!!
