I played at Clitheroe today the course was in decent condition but the greens were superb, for an inland parkland course I don't know how they do it. My friend said they were quicker today than when she played there during the summer.

Yep our green right at Leighton are the best I have seen them since I joined there

Rolling better and quicker than the Duchess currently

Ours have been a bit like this currently. Suffering from not had enough water over the summer, they've been a bit too dry and bumpy and not had decent growth all over. the last 6 weeks or so the growth has been much better and having been hand cut yesterday morning they were the best they had been to putt on all year. Sadly we then got a lot of rain down later in the day to the point they will start to be getting a little on the soft side sadly. Still, was great whilst it lasted lol

Played at Hawkstone today and they were like sponges and bumpy as heck, with the low sun you could see your footprints, not great !!

Cant wait to play ours again which are best they've been all year ;)

our have been fantastic the last 3 months and still rolling very well on Monday. Can't say the same for Muirfield though, spiked ( with great big hulking spikes as well) when i played this week. Strangely they were ironing them and then a guy came around after and did the spiking with a tractor !!!

Ours have been fantastic for the time of year. Not perfect visually with some patches on them but putting as true as you want and at a good pace. Very happy with the work our green keeper has been doing

Same...ours are superb at the minute as well. The early part of the year is when ours are at their best, especially if we get an exceptionally hot and dry late spring/summer
