Was in one of our biggest tournaments this weekend played over 36 holes. After a very disapointing (103 -25) net 78 (par71) on saturday with 7 penalty shots, I was 14 shots behind the leader. I only just scrapped in with only the top 50% of players going through with a chance of the main prize
Went out today with just a thought of enjoying myself, just about kept my ball in play (by inches) on the first but managed a net par. Managed to get to half way with a level net par. Then I stared playing really well and gave myself plenty of chances, iron play was really good and finished with a 93-25 net 68. Enough to fight my way through the field to finish 3rd overall. Absolutely delighted and just before I left the clubhouse I've been told I have been cut to 23.3 my lower ever.
