Just wanted to thank Mike and the GM team for trekking up to Hollins Hall for the GM society match.

A fantastic day out. Arrangements were great and the venue was spectacular.

I also had the privilege of playing with 2 of the 3 category winners (low and mid H/C categories) who claimed their places in the final with a tidy 36 and 35 points.

I couldn't quite keep up with them but had a decent enough 30 points with the damage all being done in the first 4 holes after which I had amassed a massive 2 points :o.

However there was no way I was going to trouble the high H/C category which was won with a fantastic 41 points.

The greens were fast fast fast, the hills steep and the scenery was awe inspiring.

I was also very fortunate to get picked out of the hat for a box of Z-Stars and a GM umbrella which more than made up for the wayward shots.

Good luck to the category winners in the final later in the year and thanks again GM for a great day out.

Can I also add my thanks to Mike and the guys from GM.
The course was in tip top condition but was there any reason to ask them to shave the greens this morning :o
The organisation of the day was second to none.
I had a great day in the company of Vig, Grumpyjock and John(non forum).
I was happy with my return of 33 points even though it wasnt enough to qualify after having 3 points after 4 holes
Although I didnt go home empty handed as I won the long drive competition, not quite Timgolfy length :D
Thank you once again GM, just gutted I cant make any of the other days.

Another satisfied customer here. ;)
Well done to Mike and Paul for the event, pity there was no rep from Cleveland(due to mechanical failure of the van). :(
No where near the winner but a respectible 28 points. :D
Well done to Craig for his longest drive(he can hit them) ;)
Lets see if i can wangle another try at it. :D
