Just wanted to thank Mike and the GM team for trekking up to Hollins Hall for the GM society match.
A fantastic day out. Arrangements were great and the venue was spectacular.
I also had the privilege of playing with 2 of the 3 category winners (low and mid H/C categories) who claimed their places in the final with a tidy 36 and 35 points.
I couldn't quite keep up with them but had a decent enough 30 points with the damage all being done in the first 4 holes after which I had amassed a massive 2 points
.
However there was no way I was going to trouble the high H/C category which was won with a fantastic 41 points.
The greens were fast fast fast, the hills steep and the scenery was awe inspiring.
I was also very fortunate to get picked out of the hat for a box of Z-Stars and a GM umbrella which more than made up for the wayward shots.
Good luck to the category winners in the final later in the year and thanks again GM for a great day out.
