No idea about android app's but Golfshot was very good when I used to use it on the iPhone.
If you can afford it get a garmin watch thing'y or a skycaddie - I stopped using the app 1, because I used to get cheesed off losing battery rapidly on my iPhone & 2, it made me look at my phone....... I go golfing to try and get away from the phone!

I have 'Swing by Swing Golf GPS' on my Android phone, I've not actually used it yet, as not sure how the battery will last. I want to test it once the weather improves!
