Have a Sky caddie at present and looking to change to a GPS watch.

Nothing too complicated, budget £180 tops. Play a few courses away from home so pre downloaded courses in UK important and did not like the Sky caddie fee.

Would like something that shows distances to greens and hazards. No need to keep stats.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the Bushnell neo xs,quite basic but I'm happy with it.
My mate as a Tom Tom (not sure of model) but he rates it.

Loved my Golf Buddy wt4 (superceded by the wt5) but I started getting a rash on my wrist in the summer when I was sweating, had to change back to a normal gps device. Damn my sensitive skin.

Deffo want a watch? I have a Garmin G6 in quality condition that I no longer use due to changing to a laser.

Plan to pop it in the FS section when I can be bothered. PM me if so. Needless to say, It'll leave you with change.

Got an email saying online golf are doing a garmin approach s2 for £99.99. Deal expires tomorrow (5th oct) if it's any use.

I've had a Bushnell Neo XS for a couple of years now and very happy with it. It gives Front, Middle and Back, up to 4 hazards a hole, shot length measurement and time taken to play the round. It's also very light and I can get at least two rounds out of it between charges.
Quite big numbers also make it easy for me to read.

Had a Bushnell Neo XS but within 8 months the strap had broken. Was a bit concerned when I got it that it seemed a weak point.
Returned it to American Golf and swapped for aTom Tom Go2......really good although the auto shot detector is a bit unreliable so tend to input shots manually or not use that feature. As a distance indicator I rate it above the Bushnell as it shows hazards and the green in more detail.

Same as.
Love it

4 of us stood on the 9th tee (158 yds to centre according to the board) at our place all check the yardage, all 4 were different , there was as much as 12 yds between them and that was two Golf Buddy WT5s same watch I assume the same satellite but nearly 8% difference, not that accurate then..

I recently got myself a skycaddie linx watch. Very happy with it so far, yardages seen accurate enough when I laser to a flag which is fairly central in the green.

I put mine on the handle of my trolley in the summer.

Yeah I considered that but it kind of defeated the object of having a watch :D
The WT4 developed a software issue just out of warranty, Golf Buddy were excellent and sent me a brand new replacement.
I sold that and got a barely used Garmin G8 from Ebay for a good price, this developed a fault after a few months and luckily Garmin replaced this with a new/refurbed device which I use all the time now.

I use an Apple Watch with the Hole19 app. You do need to have an iPhone in your bag so not a cheap option unless you already have the kit. Gives me front/middle/back yardages and keeps score

How long does the battery last on the watch when using the Hole19 app?
