if you've got an iPhone, get PGA Tour Caddie. Its free, has lots of courses and the distances are bang on. For my course they are anyway.

They should use the course markers not a DMD...

But certain courses allow DMD's in Comp's but you cant use your phone as a DMD.

Jeez, that's bargainous! Is it legit? My dad uses one of these and recommends them highly.

Well if you are a member of one of those certain clubs...buy a GPS. If you are not...use the markers

I have had one for about a year now.Very good in my opinion.Gives distance to front middle and back of green.Also handy for measuring how far you hit each club:thup:

Downloaded this a while ago as I already had the lite version of golf shot lite. Never used it yet! For few times I've messed with it home its crashed!

Where can you check the courses available on it? Oh dear just found it.

The S320 is another good looking option.

I have a Shotmiser G700 and it is just a re badged snooper with different firmware. Works very well.

I purchased this range finder start of last year think i payed about £90 for it, got to say its pretty basic but does not have any subscriptions and i think its about 5000 courses across Europe pre loaded. It has never failed to get a signal and does have some distances to hazards etc, the only down side i would say is i am only getting a couple of rounds to the batteries sometimes 3 if i buy the more expensive ones. Never tried with re-chargeables as just bought a packet of cheaper ones at poundland or whenever on offer.
But if you are only looking for front ,middle, back yardages its well worth the money.

Downloaded this a while ago as I already had the lite version of golf shot lite. Never used it yet! For few times I've messed with it home its crashed!

It's been updated IIRC and is now a far more stable platform I'm running ios7 beta 6 and it's never crashed on me.
