Apologies this I am sure has been asked before, but what is the best gps app for an I phone, want one that measures to hazards etc

Golfshot used to be good when I last used an I phone as a gps

I agree golf shot was/probably still is excellent although not free!

There's a lot of free ones so might be worth downloading a couple and try them out, I think sky droid and swing by swing seem to get decent mentions and reviews

I currently use swing by swing. Its ok for a free version only gives you to the middle of the green and some features are locked out unless you pay for looper (£20 a year i think) but worth trying.

try FunGolfGPS. its amazing. saw it advertised in Golf world a few months ago, so thought i'd have a look.

its brilliant.

I have been using Hole19 which I found quite good.... only thing is it was about 15yards out from my Dads Garmin Watch.... hmmmm question is which is more acurate and why so different?

Would tend to lead to the watch since the app is free and that aint but did have me thinking

Freecaddie works well for me on Andorid and should be available for iPhone. I use Skydroid for courses that aren't on Freecaddie. Both give FMB and option for overhead view using satellite image and some hazard details if they have been mapped by the user. Both usually within a yard of other GPS.

Avoid Swing by swing. To get the most from it you need the upgrade and it's not legal for comps.
