hi all
like many others i got drenched this morning so can anyone recommend a resonably priced golf suit?
the local pro shop has some hitec suits reduced from £110 to £65? any good?
or seen some proquip gear on ebay similar money?
if anyone here has any opinions or experience advice would be welcome.
cheers

thats a good question, i didn't play much over winter so never bothered getting any waterproofs, the days i did play it wasn't raining.

I want some waterproofs just in case so don't really want to spend alot, just enough to keep me dry!

You'll not go far wrong with Proquip - they kept the Europeans dry at the RC last year.

Galvin Green are allegedly the best but they're the most expensive. Proquip, Sunderland, Sunice, Ping, Callaway, Mizuno, Nike, Footjoy etc all do good kit.Not sure about Hitec..

Can't go wrong with pro quip! Galvin Green are quality! But like people have said, very pricey. Try and go for anything with a gore Tex lining as that's breathable as well...

Pro Quip for me.Got the Ryder Cup suit and it is superb and good value at £125. Galvin Green is very expensive and it rustles ;)

I've got Sunderland but I think it's a suit they don't make any more.

I was very pleasantly surprised how little it restricts my swing even with a couple of layers underneath.

I managed to get a proqup pqlite suit off ebay brand new for 48 quid, used it twice now and dry as a bone (shame about my bag/clubs though :) )

very light and quiet to wear and looks good aswell, I even wear the jacket to my lads footy matches so cant recommend highly enough
