Only just joined the club 6 weeks ago and was given a handicap of 18 after playing socially for 2 years.

Played in my 6th competition yesterday and was playing rather poorly, as I have been since joining, and hit a hole in one on the 187 yard par 3 15th.

Over the moon to say the least! Was jumping about daft, as were my playing partners.

Only downside is the 97 other shots I had in the round

So now on to shoot a decent score in a medal and I'll be an even happier man.

Very good effort there. That distance should also give you some bragging rights over those who have 'only' done it with a wedge;) Which club did you hit?

Thanks all. I hit my 27* hybrid.

The ball is in my bag somewhere but don't see the point in keeping it tbh, I'm not letting the ball take the credit, it was me that hit the shot

Well done, still waiting for my first. Came within 6 inches last week, and quite close today (ball ran a couple of foot past edge of hole).

Wow that is ace! Was it a medal match and do your results go on how did I do?

if so you nay be the owner of a brand new Huggo Boss Watch :)

Yes mate it was in a club competition and it's on howdidido, just waiting on an email from them with a verification code for the watch :D

I have not seen any of mine or my sons. Mine were on uphill holes and my sons was on a 165 yard hole surrounded by trees and the mist shrouded the green with sun shining from the other side of the green. We thought it looked a good line as it was drawing a bit but we could not see it for the last 50 yards.

Well done. Hope you have many more.
