Anyone else going?

I was lucky enough to go last year for the first time through corporate hospitality and today I've received an invitation again. Happy Days!

For anyone that hasn't been, I'd thoroughly recommend it. There's a huge amount to see, more than you can do in one day. But the best thing is the ability to get up close to vehicles and drivers from all eras and genres of motorsport. Saturday is the best day to see famous faces, although last year on the Friday I did get to meet Kenny Roberts Sr.

Have you been to both?

I've never been to the Revival so I couldn't comment on which was better. Not really a case for competition between the two though.

To me the Revival is better because of my love for older racing. Also the period atmosphere is amazing.

For anyone interested I may have some tickets going free for the moving motor show before the festival of speed. Won them on twitter the other day then realised it was whilst I was on holiday

I had a thoroughly good day on Friday at the FOS, it's a fantastic opportunity to get up close to racing cars & bikes and supercars for all eras. A good chance also to meet famouse drivers and celebrities. Here's just a couple of photos from the day.
