Nipped in for a shot at 9 holes tonight after work, first tee and absolutely smashed the ball nowhere near where I wanted and resulted in a lost ball and taking a drop, 8 iron fell short of the green with the second shot also so needless to say I wasn't impressed with myself....... This was quickly made up however with a chip and run onto the green from 25ish yards leaving the ball trundling along the green before dropping in!! First chip in I've had from any distance so was more than pleased and making up for the terrible start!!

Such is every round for me. Either a peachy driving session or an enjoyable short game yet I've never quite married the two.

I go through rounds where I can either hit my 3 wood or my 5 wood ok but not both - makes no sense to me
