Hi All

Where's the best place for half decent golf clothing without breaking the bank?

pretty much all my spare cash is going into lessons at the moment but could do with picking up a few bits especially for the upcoming colder months.

Thanks!

Dunlop range at Sports Direct does the job. Can get 15 shirts for the same price as 1 IJP shirt. Not as nice, but a shirt is a shirt!

For value stuff TK Maxx is a good bet. Also check in your local golf pro shops as they nearly always have a sale rail where some bargains can be found especially at the moment as they are starting to get autumn winter stuff in so old stock needs to be moved on

Some folk hate the mention of the word, but I'm gonna say it....

eBay.

I get most of my clothes there (new with tags a must! - as is a good feedback % for the seller). Find a brand you know your size in and if you have patience you can pick up great bargains. Most of my shirts are Lyle and Scott, my jumpers IJP (there's a great IJP outlet store on ebay), and I never pay more than £20 for any of it (some shirts won for about a tenner). Got a great pair of Strombergs for £33 recently but its hard to get the ones I like (slim fit legs)

+1 for TK Maxx. Got a load of Ping Polo Shirts from their online store back in May. Some great bargains to be had, failing that my local American Golf seem to constantly have a sale on their clothing!

TK Maxx for me. Lots of ping polos for £20. I bought 2 greg norman polos for £30, really nice design and fit, but the best thing is that XL is too big and so i got large ones. I can now mostly be found with the label sticking out so that everyone knows.

The Dunlop mock base layers are very good for winter wear.

American Golf's Palm Grove collection is decent quality and reasonably priced, but the Modal polo shirts I've found to have baubled quite easily after washing.

Another vote for Woodworm gear, decent quality at a very low price. I also use TK Maxx as the store in Grantham now has a separate golf section.

I am also lucky in that I have a Boundary Mills store near me. I pick up some great bargains on golf gear there.
