Good round but potentionaly disasterious

Its my clubs stableford weekend today and tomorrow.Played my round today with 2 other chaps. Came in with 40 points of my 23 handicap.All well and good so I thought. Anyway when I got home I was discussing the round with HID who also plays. During the conversation I realised that I hadn't ticked the box on my scorecard to denote what tees we played off before putting my card in. Now I will have to wait and see if I get DQ .

I think you should be OK with that. As long as it's signed and dated.

Depends on how strict your Comp Sec is. Ours would have the red pen out and D/Q into the computer before your card had reached the bottom of the scorecard box. Others are a bit more leniant.

If you do get D/Q'd try not to be too down and file it away in the memory so you don't repeat the mistake

As long as the card has been signed you should be ok.

Most clubs won't pull you up for this.....mostly it's a "not expected" part of filling in the card. Strictly speaking, however....??

Turned out ok. I won the Div 2 stableford with 40 points and have been cut from 23.2 to 21.6. Things are looking good............... at the moment
