I'm back once again, got myself joined up at another club closer to home where the missus likes the place and has gave me permission to play more often

Played 3 times last week (so got my cards in for my handicap already) and have properly got the bug again so i'll be kicking about here more often now.

Anything interesting happen in the 6 months since i was last here? lol

Take an electric trolley or hire a buggy for the back 9!!! lol

The front 9 is quite flat with some good scoring opportunities, the back 9 is unbelievably hilly and a lot tougher. 17 plays a lot longer than the yardage says!

You playing off the yellows or whites?

I played Ramsdale a couple of years ago with 3 other forummers. Nice place, I liked it.
Very different 9's though. It was raining and very windy, which makes the back 'challenging' to say the least!

Indeed.....i played off the whites on Tuesday white about 18mph winds, then off the yellows on Saturday with about 12mph winds, and then the yellows on Sunday with virtually no wind and the diference in all 3 days was unbelievable!!!

I do really enjoy the course though, havent decided if i'm going to continue carrying or get an eleccy trolley yet tho! lol
