Good day....bad day?

Mixed day for me today.....

Good: played The Astbury in a Charity golf day

Bad: 2 1/2 hr drive through small villages- nightmare journey.

Good: beautiful day

bad: welcome pack had a sleeve of Pinnacles.

Good: Great company in my 4 ball..all great guys.

bad: they were all 28 h/Cappers so we spent aaages looking for balls.

Good:fantastic bacon buttie

bad: received a text from Darren Anderton asking if I wanted to join him, Tim Sherwood and Les Ferdinand in a 4 ball @the Centurion that morning

Goodlayed the first 15 holes in 3 under gross including an eagle :thup:

Bad: bottled it and played the last 3 holes in 5 over!!

Good: contributed 40 points towards ours team score (best 2 from 4)

Bad: we only scored 70 points in total

Good: beat the pro in the nearest the pin comp to go in the draw for a flash watch

Bad: didn't win the draw

Good: food was amazing

Bad: 3 hour drive home

In all seriousness it was a great day for a great cause and I'm pretty sure I'll get to play with Darren et Al another day.




Hitting some seriously good form at the moment....in my last 4 rounds @ Centurion the worst has been 4 over gross. Hopefully can do it with a card in hand and not just in the swindle..........

Card in hand is when it counts , i have not done it myself this year , played well except in comps , will still keeping trying

Forget the last few holes, focus on the first 15, oh and get the SSS at Centurion sorted so that youre down to 3 please

Just continuing the good/bad theme........

Good: received a call from Ashridge saying someone had dropped out and can I still play tomorrow's mid age scratch open 36 holes :thup:

bad: no babysitter tomorrow and wife is at work so frantically ringing around to arrange something

Bad: missed out on the official courtesy practice days

Good: pro says I can have a courtesy round tonight after 4:30 :thup:

Overall good/bad scales= good :thup:
