Good day at the London Club.

Responding to an advert in GM, my cousin and I took advantage of the London Club's winter golf package which included breakfast, a hot drink halfway, and dinner after, plus range balls, all for £70 per person. Because of a booking mix-up, we had to play on the members only Heritage course instead of the International course. We thought the Heritage was excellent, in superb condition for the time of year and had some very interesting holes, especially the par 3s. I thoroughly recommend the package and if I wasn't just visiting the area from North Wales I would certainly have another day out there. The staff were all very helpful and really treated us like VIPs. One tip though, don't bother with a buggy because they have to stay on the path, which is a long way from the centre of the fairways in many cases and it means a long walk with a selection of clubs.
