Had a lesson at the St. Andrews Academy today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Learned loads and have plenty to work on going forward.

Would happily recommend it, a great facility and a first class morning with my instructor.

Just back from a lesson. Little tweak to ball position and address and striping it. Confidence levels high for the new season if only I can get out on a bloody course and put it into practice. Still got a testing session for the Ping I20 or 25's to look forward to on the 14th

Indeed it does. It is the way to go though if you have flaws that NEED fixing, provided you are prepared to put the work in then you should reap the rewards.

Definitely learned a lot about how I currently hit the ball and why I get the results I do, and more importantly how to go about making improvements.

Provided you understand what you have been told and continue to understand it when there is not a pro stood at the side of you watching, sounds daft but it does happen. They have an uncanny knack of showing you something to be doing and whilst they are there you hit them great but soon as they leave it goes downhill. Get this bit right and work on what you have been taught, be prepared for some iffy results at first until the changes are bedded in

I'll be fine.

Ive just started with a new pro as well, posture and hand position change. My slice has gone! Pity its turned into a hook but theres progress so will go back next week quite happily.

Look on the bright side. There's a whole new side of the course to search for your ball than you've seen before!
